our story
Back in 2017, Jordan was living in Milwaukee, and Chris was finishing college in Grand Rapids, MI. While there might have been a Great Lake between them, their feelings were even greater, and they began a long-distance relationship.
Over the next few years, Chris took a job in Detroit, which eventually brought him to Chicago. It was here, in a small studio apartment, that they tested their love while quarantining together in 2020.
After three years of planes, trains, and automobiles, Chris moved to Milwaukee and, as promised by Jordan, got a dog. Walter, the lovable Double Doodle, quickly took over their lives and uprooted the couple from a downtown condo to a historic fixer-upper in Wauwatosa.
In the fall of 2022, Jordan proposed on Chris' birthday by the lakefront in Milwaukee. Chris immediately said "yes," and they've been planning their wedding celebration ever since.
